Several wireless systems at once? Then frequency coordination is not an extra, it is the precondition for nothing dropping out.
Why wireless systems drop out
It is not the microphone's fault, it is the frequency.
The most common mishap at events is a radio microphone that crackles or cuts out. The reason is rarely a faulty unit but a frequency that is already taken — by the hall next door, by the in-house conference system or by a camera crew working at the same time.
In Frankfurt, experience shows the spectrum in congress centres and large hotels is full. With full service we therefore coordinate the frequencies of all systems on site and keep spares in reserve. With dry hire we hand you the units preset — with more than two systems running at once we recommend letting us take it on.

Two ways, one warehouse
With crew or collect it yourself
Any team can get one or two wireless systems running on their own. From three systems running at once, frequency coordination becomes an issue.
We coordinate frequencies and stay on hand
Right for panels, award shows, conventions and anywhere several systems run at once or a contribution from the floor must not drop out.
- Enquiry:Programme, number of speakers and venue.
- Microphone plan & fixed price:who gets which microphone, plus spares.
- Coordination & soundcheck:Frequencies measured and assigned on site, fitting tests with the panel.
- Support & de-rig:Battery changes, changeovers between programme items, a technician at the desk.
You collect, we make it ready to plug in
Right for speeches, workshops and interviews with one or two systems. Receivers and transmitters come matched and with batteries in the case.

- Confirmation:we check availability and hand over the units with the frequencies preset.
- Collect:Ludwigstraße 180D in Offenbach, within the agreed collection window.

What does it cost to hire a radio microphone in Frankfurt?
A handheld microphone like the Shure SM58 is 7.50 € net per day. A wireless system with two handheld microphones or two lavaliers is 75.00 € net per day. A case with four receivers plus handheld and bodypack transmitters for panels is 300.00 € net per day. With full service we add frequency coordination and support as a fixed price.
How many wireless microphones can you run simultaneously?
With professional frequency coordination even a lot of systems run at once without interference. The exact number depends on how full the spectrum is in your venue — in Frankfurt congress centres and large hotels it is often heavily used. We measure on site and plan in spares.
Headset or lavalier — which is better?
A headset sits closer to the mouth, so it gives you more level before feedback and a more consistent sound, even when the head turns. A lavalier is more discreet but reacts more sensitively to head movement and clothing. For stage, show and camera we recommend headsets, for meetings and interviews lavaliers.
What is a Catchbox and when is it worth it?
The Catchbox is a padded throwable microphone with a wireless system: it gets thrown into the audience instead of people with questions walking to a floor microphone. It pays off from around 100 participants — it saves about a minute of waiting per question and makes people far more willing to ask.
Can I hire microphones without a technician?
Yes. All microphones and wireless systems are available as dry hire: reserve, collect in Offenbach, use them yourself. We hand them over with the frequencies preset and put batteries in the case. From three systems running at once, or for failure-critical formats, we recommend letting us handle the coordination.
Are batteries and spare rechargeables included?
Yes, we put batteries for the day of the job in the case. For multi-day events and on full service we plan in replacement batteries and charging windows — a dead transmitter in the middle of the keynote is the most avoidable mistake there is.
Can I record camera sound with it too?
Yes. For interview and camera sound we recommend the RØDE Wireless GO, and for higher demands a Sennheiser system with a lavalier. We also hire out a Zoom recorder if sound should be recorded separately from the picture.
Do you deliver microphones outside Frankfurt too?
Yes. From the warehouse in Offenbach am Main, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Mainz, Darmstadt, Hanau and the Rhine-Main region are short journeys. Longer distances and roadshows we do on request.
