NEC displays in 55 and 65 inches are in our warehouse in Offenbach, with a daily rate and a wheeled stand. When the surface has to get larger, we plan an LED wall per project — with rigging, processor and certificates.
You collect displays yourself or have them set up. We always build LED walls ourselves — statics and certificates come with them.

Most enquiries that start with “LED wall” end with us on a 55 or 65 inch display on a stand. Reception, trade-fair stand, breakout, wayfinding: there a screen is sharper, faster to set up and cheaper than a modular surface. And it holds up in daylight, without darkening the room.
An LED wall is the right choice when the surface has to get larger than a display — stage, outdoor, a continuous image. We plan those per project: pixel pitch, rigging, processor, power. Projectors remain the third option when the hall is dark and image width is what counts.

How we plan an LED wall
From surface area to fixed price
LED walls can't sensibly be ordered from a shopping basket, because every item depends on the next. These five steps lead to the quote.
- Surface area and format:How wide and high should the image be, and in which aspect ratio is the content played in?
- Viewing distance:That determines the pixel pitch. A stage backdrop can be coarser than a surface guests stand right in front of.
- Rigging or ground support:Rigging on truss or a ground support — including structural calculation and certification for the venue.
- Source feeds and processor:How many sources are there, is there live switching, does the image also go into a stream?
- Power and time slot:Connected load, setup time and the slot the venue releases.

From the field
LED wall at Messe Frankfurt
For a brand campaign at the Frankfurt exhibition grounds, the stage stood outdoors, directly in view in front of the Messeturm. That ruled out projection: in daylight nothing is left of a projected image. So an LED wall, planned around the viewing distance and the sightlines of passers-by.
Stage, LED surface and event technology came from a single source, including setup while the trade fair was running and coordination with the site. The image was visible all day — no matter where the sun stood.

What does it cost to rent a display in Frankfurt?
A 55-inch display is 200.00 € net per day, the 65-inch UHD display 300.00 € net. The wheeled stand is 13.50 € net on top. We calculate LED walls per project by surface, pixel pitch and hanging — tell us image width, venue and viewing distance, and you get a fixed-price offer in one line.
What does it cost to hire an LED wall in Frankfurt?
That depends on the surface area, on the pixel pitch and on whether it is rigged or built on stands — which is why we deliberately don't quote a flat rate here. Tell us the image width, the venue and the viewing distance and you'll get a fixed-price quote with modules, processor, rigging, power and setup in a single line item. Displays of 55 and 65 inches have fixed daily rates from 200.00 € net.
What is better: display, LED wall or projector?
A display wins at reception, trade-fair stand and breakout: sharp in daylight, fast to set up, a fixed daily rate. The projector wins on large images in darkened rooms and on price. The LED wall wins when the surface has to get larger than 65 inches — outdoor, stage, a continuous image. That is why projector and display stay on separate pages: the search intent and the setup are different.
What does pixel pitch mean and which one do I need?
Pixel pitch — stated in millimetres — is the distance between two LED points. The smaller it is, the finer the image and the closer you can get. As a rule of thumb: the minimum viewing distance in metres is roughly the pixel pitch in millimetres. That's why a stage backdrop can be coarser than a surface in the foyer.
Can I collect and build an LED wall myself?
No. We always build LED walls ourselves, because rigging, structural calculation and certification for the venue are part of the job. As dry hire we offer displays on rolling stands instead — your team can set those up without any trouble.
Are displays an alternative to an LED wall?
Up to around 65 inches yes, and they are much cheaper and faster to set up. For reception, a trade fair stand, wayfinding and breakout rooms, a display is almost always the better choice. From stage size upwards, or when you need one continuous surface, the answer is an LED wall.
How long does it take to build an LED wall?
That depends on the surface area and on access. For a stage surface we reckon on half a day to a full build day, including rigging, cabling and setting up the processor. The venue's time slot matters — we clarify that in advance.
Can we play our own content on the LED wall?
Yes. We take feeds via HDMI or SDI from a laptop, a media player or the gallery and match the image format to the module area. What matters is that the resolution of your content fits the wall's aspect ratio — we agree that before the event.
Does an LED wall work in the rain?
For outdoor jobs we plan weatherproof modules and a suitable ground support or roof. Tell us early that it's an outdoor job — it affects the choice of modules, the structural calculation and the wind load calculation.
