Battery uplights, moving heads and light sets from our own stock in Offenbach. At a daily rate to collect yourself — or with a lighting operator when entrance, laudation and party should change at the press of a button.
You collect uplights and sets yourself. We run trusses, cued shows and DMX programming — there the programme sits at the desk.
Why battery is often the better choice
Less cable, more impact.
The most common lighting enquiry from Frankfurt is not a moving head, but colour on the wall — without anyone tripping over a cable. In hotels, listed halls and tents that is the solution venues allow: battery uplights in a case, set up in minutes, taken down without a trace.
Show lighting comes in when the programme is cued: entrance, laudation, band. Then you need movement, haze and someone at the desk. Both come from the same warehouse in Offenbach — the difference is not the brand, but whether someone is driving the lights.

Any team can get uplights and a DJ set running on their own. As soon as moving heads, haze and lighting cues belong to the programme, someone sits at the desk.
We programme and run the lighting

What does it cost to rent lighting in Frankfurt?
A set of six battery uplights is 180.00 € net per day. A compact DJ light set is 38.00 € net, a weatherproof battery spot 35.00 € net. Moving heads as a pair are 140.00 € net, the Astera Titan Tube set of eight 400.00 € net. Operator, programming and rigging we add as a fixed price on full service.
Can I rent uplights without cables?
Yes. The ADJ Mirage Q6 come as a set of six in a charging case and run the evening on battery. For the garden there are weatherproof IP spots, also without power distribution. That is the path hotels and listed venues in Frankfurt usually allow.
Can I rent lighting without a technician?
Yes. Uplights, tubes and the DJ light set are available as dry hire: reserve, collect in Offenbach, set up yourself. Fixtures come charged and with a short guide. As soon as moving heads, haze and lighting cues belong to the programme, we recommend an operator — otherwise someone from your team is stuck at the desk.
Do I need an operator for moving heads?
Not necessarily for a fixed colour on the dance floor. For entrance, cue-to-cue and show moments, yes. Moving heads without programming are expensive floor lamps. We store looks per programme point and run them live so lighting and programme match.
Am I allowed to use a hazer in the venue?
The venue decides — and often fire safety. A hazer makes light beams visible without a wall of fog. In many Frankfurt hotels and museums it needs approval or is banned because smoke detectors trip. We clarify that in advance with on-site tech and plan without haze if it is not allowed.
Is a normal socket enough for the lighting?
For battery uplights you need no power on the event evening, only charging beforehand. The DJ light set and a Fresnel run on a Schuko socket. Moving-head rigs plus hazer plus PA on the same circuit get tight — then we separate lighting and sound or plan three-phase. Tell us what is available on site.
