How do we get atmosphere into a bare hall?
Through lighting. Uplights on the walls, warm fields of colour and selective accents change a hall more than any decoration. What matters is that the light stays warm and doesn't tip into disco colours while people are still eating and talking.
When should we enquire for December?
As early as possible. The December weekends are the quickest to sell out for both crew and equipment — ideally you enquire in summer. Even at short notice the call is still worth it: sometimes a dry hire set is still available, even when the full service teams are booked out.
